Tragedy has touched close to home and Vornado would like to offer help to our neighbors.  

The small town of Greensburg Kansas was leveled by an F5 tornado on May 4th, which was approximately as wide as the town itself.  It's 1400 residents have lost everything but their spirit and desire to persevere. 

All of us at Vornado feel grateful that we were able to get up in our homes and go to work the next morning, as the tornado was less than 2 hours away from our hometown of Andover Kansas.  We can't give the people of Greensburg back the family photos and other sentimental possessions destroyed or the 10 people who lost their lives but we can offer monetary support to help them rebuild their lives.  Our condolences go out to those who lost loved ones in this devastating disaster and our support to the people and community who will survive this tragedy and go on to thrive.   

Vornado Air, LLC will donate 15% of all sales from www.vornado.com and 1-800-234-0604 during May 17-31 to go to the tornado victims.  The monetary donation will be made to the Salvation Army as well as the Humane Society.  This will aid in getting food, shelter and clothing to displaced families and pet supplies and aid for animals that have been left stranded.
