Safety Recall

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Vornado is voluntarily recalling certain VH2 Whole Room Heater units because the power cord can partially detach from the enclosure, which can lead to cord damage over time, posing electric shock and fire hazards. Please stop use immediately and follow the steps described below to obtain a replacement product.

Only Vornado VH2 Whole Room Heaters sold between August 2024 and October 2024 with a “JUL24” or “AUG24” date code as part of the SERIAL NO and “TYPE VH2” printed on the silver rating label located on the underside of the product are being recalled. Units with any other date code are not part of this recall.  You can confirm whether your product is recalled below.

For personal assistance with this process, call toll-free at (844) 205-7978 Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm CST or email [email protected]. Please include “VH2 Recall” in the subject line.
